Bhopal: The prices of domestic gas cylinders have once again been hiked in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. In fact, the price of LPG in Bhopal has gone up by Rs.25 to Rs.840 to Rs.865 per cylinder from today. 25.50 earlier on 1st July also and since last March, 100 rupees (Rs. 50 and twice Rs. 25-25) has been increased in 3 times, as compared to Rs. 10 in April only once. The price of cylinders has been increased by about Rs 275 since December last year. In fact, the Central Government had decided to increase the price of gas on the first day of the month, although the price was suddenly hiked today, the morning of August 17. Now, the gas agency operators are also surprised and as soon as the information is received, the oil marketing companies have hiked the prices of 14.2 kg LPG LPG cylinders by Rs 25 from Tuesday. Till now, the cylinder was now available in Bhopal for Rs 840.50, but from today it has gone up to Rs 865.50. The price of LPG cylinder is paying more in Bhopal than in the country's capital Delhi. In fact, in Delhi and Mumbai, on 1st July, the price of a cylinder was Rs. 834.50 and if Rs. 25 is added to it, it reaches a maximum of Rs. 860. The state's opposition Congress has staged three to four demonstrations across the state, including the capital Bhopal, against rising inflation so far and over the rising price of LPG.
