Former BJP MLA resigns from party alleging dictatorship

Bhopal: BJP, which came to power after the Madhya Pradesh Congress split, has been accused of neglecting and insulting the workers by an old party leader and former MLA. Not only this, but former BJP MLA Ram Dayal Prabhakar has also sent his resignation to the state president VD Sharma with a letter for the same reason.

Ramdayal Prabhakar has also said in the letter that he resigned from all posts with the primary membership of the party. In the letter, former MLA Prabhakar accused the dictatorship of the party and the gross neglect and insult of the old cadres. Ramdayal's resignation has stirred up tensions. It is being seen as a major setback for the BJP ahead of the by-elections in the state. Ramdayal Prabhakar has been a BJP MLA from Sevada constituency of Datia.

During the cabinet expansion and subsequent division on July 2, there were voices of discontent in the BJP and now the political atmosphere has been warmed by the resignation of the former MLA. However, so far no response has been given from the state BJP.
