Madhya Pradesh's start-up policy to be inaugurated by PM Modi today

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually launch Madhya Pradesh's Startup Policy and Implementation Plan 2022 on Friday at 7 p.m. and interact with members of the startup community. PM Modi praised the Madhya Pradesh government for its efforts to make the state a business hub and encouraged people from the ecosystem to participate in the initiative.

"Today at 7 p.m., the Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy will be launched, and representatives from the startup community will be present. I applaud the MP government's efforts to make the state a business hub. I strongly encourage all members of this ecosystem to attend the programme this evening "In a tweet, Prime Minister Modi stated.

According to a state public relations official, the ceremony will be conducted at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The Madhya Pradesh government is introducing its "Startup Policy and Implementation Plan - 2022" with the goal of encouraging new entrepreneurs and promoting companies in the state.

This startup policy was created specifically to boost and realise the entrepreneurial ideas of the state's youth.  The government has organised a number of events across the state to raise awareness about the Startup Policy in Madhya Pradesh.

P Narhari, Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, elaborated on the policy's distinctiveness, saying, "The new Startup Policy differs significantly from the previous policy. The concept of a "MP Startup Centre" is an important addition to the MP Startup Policy 2022. Previously, the department simply implemented one policy, but this will now be done in conjunction with the MP Startup Centre. The startup centre will have its own office, as well as a head/mentor for each startup and specialists in relevant fields who will assist the startup community."
