Maharashtra: Balasaheb Thorat resigns as Congress state president

Mumbai: A big news has come about Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat, who is playing the role of a cabinet minister and state president in Maharashtra government. He has resigned as the President of the State Congress. Sources have told about this. The party has also started the exercise of the election of the new state president. It is being told that big names like Nana Patole, Nitin Raut, Amit Deshmukh are included in this list.

There is now a demand in the Congress Party that such a leader should become the new state president who can play the party's work well. Before this Balasaheb Thorat took this command but due to getting an additional charge, he could not do his work properly. At the moment, there has been no response from the party on his new decision so far.

Balasaheb Thorat is the Revenue Minister in Maharashtra Government as well as the leader of Congress Legislature. According to sources, due to additional burden, he has decided to resign from the post of Congress state president. Congress under the leadership of Balasaheb Thorat had won 44 seats in the assembly elections. It is being said that it is due to Thorat's efficient leadership that the Congress remains in power in Maharashtra today.
