Mumbai: Political upheavals triggered by the Antilia case and the Mansukh Hiren massacre in Maharashtra are on the rise. Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh tweeted claiming that he had transferred Parambir Singh and accused him. Janha tweeted, "Singh was transferred in view of the suspicious role of Param Bir Singh and Sachin Waze in the death case of Antilia and Mansukh Hiren after which they levelled false allegations against me". It is learnt that Anil Deshmukh had also filed a petition in the Bombay High Court earlier on Tuesday. In it, he demanded cancellation of the FIR filed against him by the CBI. The CBI has registered a case against Deshmukh under prevention of corruption act and Section 120B of Indian Panel Code. The cases have been registered when former Mumbai police commissioner Parambir Singh accused Anil Deshmukh of running a recovery racket. In fact, Param Bir Singh has been removed as mumbai police commissioner on March 17. He had been made the DG of the Home Guard. After which Param Bir Singh had accused Anil Deshmukh of recovering Rs 100 crore every month from Sachin Waje. It was only in March that a letter from former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh, which he wrote to CM Uddhav Thackeray, came to light. Parambir Singh had claimed in the letter that Anil Deshmukh had demanded Rs 100 crore every month from Sachin Waje, which was to be recovered from different parts of Mumbai. Parambir Singh himself had demanded a CBI probe into the case. Deshmukh had to resign as home minister following param Bir singh's allegations.
