New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has invited the whole world to come to India and be a part of the development path of the maritime sector. Addressing the Maritime India Summit 2021 through video conferencing, PM Modi said this while focusing on the maritime sector and favoring India to transform it into a leading blue economy in the world. After inaugurating the Maritime India Summit 2021, PM Modi said, 'Through this Maritime India Summit, I want to invite the world to come to India and be a part of our development path. India is very serious about growing in the maritime sector and emerging as the world's leading blue economy.' PM Modi further said that the summit will bring together the main stakeholders of the maritime sector and play a leading role in furthering the development of India's maritime economy. During this, PM Modi said that we are connecting ports with coastal economic zones, port-based smart cities, industrial parks. This will increase industrial investment and increase manufacturing activities around the world near the ports.
