Jaipur: In Rajasthan, the agitation for reservation of Gujjars may be intensified once again. meeting of the Gurjar Struggle Committee has been held on Monday to chalk out the roadmap. The meeting is expected to outline the movement ahead. Gujjar leader Shailendra Singh said that a meeting led by Colonel Kirodi Basla is going to be held in the capital Jaipur on Monday. Gujjar leaders from across the state will be present during the visit. He said the state government has not withdrawn 60 cases registered so far during the Gujjar agitation. Further, apart from Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS), many recruitments, including Panchayati Raj, are not getting a reservation. Shailendra Singh also said that three people who were killed in the Gujjar agitation have not been given government jobs by the state government. The Gurjar Samaj has jammed the railway track demanding reservation several times in 13 years. In these 13 years for reservation, the Gujjar society has been on track again and again. The BJP and the Congress government have been giving reservation to the Gujjar community but every time the matter gets stuck in the court.
