Former Australian cricketer and famous as 'Mr. Cricket' Michael Hussey believes that Rohit Sharma will succeed in the four-match Test series in Australia at the end of this year on the strength of his ability and skill. Hussey also said that Rohit has the power to perform well in the difficult conditions of Australia on this tour. India is to travel to Australia for a four-Test series, the first match of the series will start in Brisbane on 3 December. He said in a sports channel show, "I have no doubt that Rohit has the ability and skills to succeed in the conditions there.' Hussey also believes that with the return of Steve Smith and David Warner, the upcoming Test series will be difficult for India. India won the Test series for the first time in Australia in the year 2018 when both Smith and Warner were banned because they could not play. He said, 'Surely the return of Smith and Warner has strengthened the team, but the players who played two years ago were not fully prepared. Now they have become experienced and hence India is going to face a tough challenge in Australia this summer.' In this Test, all eyes will be on Rohit, who performed well as a batsman for the first time in Test cricket against South Africa in October last year. He did not play in both Tests against New Zealand due to a calf injury. Hussey said, 'Any batsman in the world is tempted under Australian conditions, but I believe that he (Rohit) has played a lot of matches in the top order in One Day International cricket and he has now also got success in Test matches and this will boost his confidence.'
