Vikas Khanna to be honoured with 'Asia Game Changer Award'

Famous star chef Vikas Khanna will be honoured with the prestigious 'Asia Game Changer Award' of 2020 for providing food to millions of people in the country during Corona crisis. He did this entire campaign from his residence in Manhattan, thousands of miles away from the country. Asia Society, a non-profit organization of America, started the 'Asia Game Changer Award' in 2014.

Under this, true leaders who make positive contributions to the future of Asia are identified and honoured. Khanna is the only Indian among the six persons whose names were announced by the organization on Wednesday. Khanna is being honoured for providing food to millions of people in times of need and suffering in the country. Khanna said that he is happy to receive the honour from this prestigious organization, which has played an important role in promoting Asian culture.

He further said that "I feel great by joining the list of great people who have received this award". Khanna had earlier said that it seems that the last 30 years were preparing him for this human threat. He said that 'This has been the most gratifying time of my cooking career.' During the corona crisis, Khanna started a campaign to provide food to the needy in the country. He was also greatly praised for his work.
