On Wednesday, the big statement of Union Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Mahendra Nath Pandey has come out. According to the guidelines of PM Narendra Modi, training is being given to the youth to work in the emerging skill sectors in health, pharma, agriculture, electronic etc. The next part of skill development will be based on self-reliant India. In which skill development of youth is going to be done in local skills according to 'Vocal for Local' theme. So that they do not have to move to other districts for employment. Because of this, Prime Minister Skill Development Centers will be opened in every city of India. Union Minister addressed the youngsters with his speech on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day. Due to Corona, the Ministry celebrated the fifth anniversary of Skill India through virtual medium this year. Apart from this, in the Digital Skills Conclave, the youngsters had given the message of enhancing their skills in life with the three basic mantra of skill, re-skill and upskill. The Union Minister said that 5 crore youth have been trained in the last five years in Skill India. Every year, 1 crore youth are taking training under PM Skill Development Scheme. 3 IISs have been opened on the lines of IITs and IIMs. A plan to work together with 10 countries is being prepared in the near future. For which the skilling mappings are matched with their skilling, so that doctors, healthcare, assistants can be sent from India if needed. This will provide good employment opportunities to the youth abroad.
