Minivan rams into truck in Andhra Pradesh, Four killed

AMARAVATI: Four people dead, and two others seriously injured as minivan rams into a parked lorry in Andhra Pradesh’s Kakinada.
 
In the small hours of Wednesday, November 16, a traffic accident in Andhra Pradesh's Kakinada district claimed the lives of four persons. A minivan collided with a parked truck in the Jaggampet constituency of Kakinada.
 
The national highway via Mallepally is where the accident took place. A Tata Magic minivan carrying thirteen people collided with a vehicle that was parked alongside the road.
 
One of the 13 persons in the minivan died immediately after the accident, while three more died at the government hospital in Rajahmundry. While others with less critical injuries are receiving medical attention, two more people are reportedly seriously hurt.
 
Further investigations are being conducted after police filed a case in relation to the event.
