Ratlam: A speeding car ran over workers working on the road on the Mhow-Neemuch highway near Jamunia village in the Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh. 4 workers died in the accident, and 12 people were injured. Among the injured, seven are labourers and five were travelling in the car. All the workers are residents of Aligarh and Bulandshahr in UP. Those who have been admitted to the district hospital. The culprit car driver has been arrested.

Ratlam SP Abhishek Tiwari has confirmed the incident. According to the news, the incident has been told near Jamunia Fante of the Bilpank police station area of ​​Ratlam district. Some labourers were doing the work of installing railing on the culvert near Jamunia. On Tuesday evening, a speeding car coming from Indore ran over the workers uncontrollably. The accident was so dangerous that four died on the spot. There was a hue and cry after the accident. As soon as the information was received, the villagers and toll personnel reached the spot and took out the injured persons. The injured persons were sent to the district hospital with the help of an ambulance and loading vehicle. Ratlam Rural MLA Dilip Makwana had also reached the hospital. Collector Narendra Suryavanshi and MLA Dilip Makwana instructed doctors to provide better treatment to the injured.

According to the same injured persons, signboards were also installed 100 meters away from the construction site. The speed of the car was fast. It suddenly came towards us and didn't even give us a chance to recover. Some people were hit by the car and fell far away, those who got buried under the car died. Titu son of Suresh (20), Vikas son of Rakesh Kashyap (19), Hariom son of Harprasad (22) and one other died in the accident. The deceased are residents of Aligarh in UP. Among the injured workers, 18-year-old Deepak Kumar son of Jagmohan Sen, 17-year-old Yogesh son of Mahesh, 32-year-old Manveer Singh son of Mangal Singh, 31-year-old Ompal son of Mangal Singh, 18-year-old Amit son of Dalveer Singh, 17-year-old Chandu son of Sher, including 18-year-old Deepak Kumar son of Jagmohan Sen, residents of village Mathna district Aligarh. Singh and 18-year-old Ashish son of Nahar Singh, are all residents of the village Malikpura, district Aligarh (UP). While Saurabh Shailendra Jain (28), a resident of Palace Road Ratlam, was riding in the car. His mother Shalini Jain (52) and maternal grandmother Shanta Jain (75) residents of New Mandsaur have been admitted to the district hospital. Two other injured persons in the car have been taken to a private hospital.
