Mithun Chakraborty joins BJP, said 'I do what I say ...'

Kolkata: Bollywood's well-known veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty has joined the saffron camp at the Brigade Ground in Kolkata in the presence of BJP state president Dilip Ghosh and senior party leader Kailash Vijayvargiya. Before Prime Minister Modi arrived at the Brigade Ground, Mithun Chakraborty gave the signal to become active in Bengal politics by waving the flag of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Kailash Vijayvargiya, around his neck, welcomed him to the party by wearing a garland bearing the insignia of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

It is also being said that Mithun Chakraborty can address the citizens of Bengal in the presence of PM Narendra Modi. Simultaneously, Prime Minister Modi has reached Kolkata Airport, in a short time, the Brigade will rally on the ground. On 16 February, actor Mithun Chakraborty met Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Mumbai. After which there was speculation that he would go to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

On Saturday evening, Mithun Chakraborty met BJP in-charge of West Bengal and National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya here. Now he has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. Also, Mithun Chakraborty said- I do what I speak. Mithun Chakraborty in West Bengal sparks speculation as party’s CM face. This second political innings of Mithun Chakraborty has started, before he reached Rajya Sabha in April 2014 from the Trinamool Congress quota.
