New Delhi: The list of Cabinet Ministers of Modi government has been declared.  58 ministers, including PM Modi, took oath on Thursday. BJP President Amit Shah has been appointed as the new Home Minister of the country. Rajnath Singh will hold the defence ministry.

Santosh Kumar Gangwar has been appointed the Labor and Employment Ministry. Rao Inderjit Singh has been given charge of statistics and program implementation. Shripad Naik has been appointed Minister of State of Defense and Ayurveda and Yoga Minister. Jitendra Singh has been made Minister of the Prime Minister's Office. Apart from this, Jitendra Singh has also been given additional charge of North-East Development Minister.

Kiran Rijiju has been given the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Prahlad Singh Patel has been made Minister of the Ministry of Culture. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has been appointed as the Water Power Minister. Dr. Harshvardhan will be the Health Minister. Prakash Javadekar has been entrusted with the Ministry of Environment and Forests. Piyush Goyal will be the railway minister just like before. Dharmendra will be the chief petroleum minister. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi will hold his old minority affairs portfolio. Prahlad Joshi has been appointed the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs. Mahendra Nath Pandey has been made Skill Development Minister.
