World's cleanest petrol and diesel will be available in India soon, Modi government approve sale

New Delhi: Now the world's cleanest petrol-diesel will start being found in the country. In view of the increasing pollution in the country, the Central Government has approved the sale of petrol-diesel with Euro-6 standard at all petrol pumps. For this, the work of delivering fuel to the petrol pump has started. Officials related to the case say that from April 1, Euro-6 will start getting at petrol and diesel petrol pumps.

Indian Oil chairman Sanjeev Singh has said that BS-6 petrol and diesel production has started in refineries since last year for uninterrupted supply in all petrol pumps. BS-6 is equivalent to the international standard Euro-6. Significantly, the amount of sulfur in petrol and diesel compatible with BS-6 is only 10 PPM. It is considered clean like CNG. Nitrogen oxide emissions of BS-6 compatible vehicles will be reduced by 25 percent in petrol cars and up to 70% in diesel cars.
