'Modi Go Back' slogans raises in JNU before unveiling Swami Vivekananda statue

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is going to unveil the life-size statue of Swami Vivekananda located on the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University in the national capital today. The statue will be unveiled through PM video conferencing, but before that, the JNU Students Union (JNUSU) has started shouting slogans of Modi Go Back and organized a protest meeting at the North Gate of Varsity at 5 pm today.

The statue unveiling ceremony in JNU administration block is scheduled at 6:30 pm. However, protests in JNU have already started before this unveiling. A poster released by this JNUSU student writes PM Modi has been asked to 'go back' and the Ministry of Education has been asked for 'reply'. In this poster, slogans like "Anti-education and anti-student Mogi government" are written in it.

Give Answer Modi! JNU students, not the fief of the union! ' Like slogans are written in these posters. Before that the students of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) have been continuously attacking the administration over the construction of the statue, alleging waste of money. Under this statue, students of JNU wrote objectionable things about 'saffron jalega' and Hindutva.
