Hyderabad : Congress leader and MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Wednesday met Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi. Komatireddy handed over a memorandum to the Union Minister for various road development projects in Bhubaneswar Parliamentary constituency. He thanked Gadkari for allocating Rs 600 crore for the development of the national highway from LB Nagar to Malkapur. MP Komatireddy told mediapersons that he had asked the Union Minister to extend the new road from Nakreel to Tanam Cherla on National Highway-365 and to sanction funds for the construction of a flyover near Arvapalli. Apart from this, due to the expansion of the city of Miryalaguda, it was requested to start work on the National Highway from Alinagar to Miryalaguda on National Highway 167 in the municipal area. In a memorandum submitted to MP Gadkari, the MP requested that the necessary funds be released for the project, which was sanctioned from the Outer Ring Road near Gorelli to Valligonda-Torroor-Nellikuduru-Mehboobabad-Illendu to Kottagudem National Highway-30.
