Sagar: Nowadays, there are many shocking accidents in Madhya Pradesh. Now, a shocking case has come to light from Sagar district here. In fact, in a village here, a 25-year-old man was allegedly set on fire by his family after an affair with him, causing his death. According to the information received, Sagar district Superintendent of Police Atul Singh has informed about the entire case. He said the incident took place late on Thursday night in Semra Laharia village under Naryavali police station area of Sagar.
Police have arrested four members of the woman's family here. Police said, the girl (23) was also burnt in the incident. In the case, police said, the girl claimed that the youth was trying to burn her by pouring kerosene on her but the fire broke out in the youth. At the same time, the girl has also claimed that her family members tried to save the two. In this case, Atul Singh said that the youth died during treatment at a hospital in Sagar last Friday.
He also said that the youth said in his pre-death statement that the girl had called him on Thursday night. The girl's four family members then poured kerosene on her and set her on fire. He also informed that later when the family members of the youth came to know about the incident, they rushed him to the hospital. Police have registered a case of murder against the four accused and further investigation is underway.
