Big blow to BJP in mayoral elections, know who is ahead?

Bhopal: The results of election results of 133 civic bodies in Madhya Pradesh are beginning to emerge. Congress has taken the lead in 3 of the 11 municipal corporations and AAP in Singrauli. This is a setback for the BJP, as it has been in control of all these municipal corporations. The BJP has captured 19 of the 28 wards of the Panna Municipality. Congress has won six seats and others have won three seats. Similarly, out of 15 wards of Ajaygarh Municipal Council, BJP and Congress and others have got two seats each in 11 wards.  

Out of the 15 wards of Devendra Nagar Parishad, 8 have been won by the BJP, 4 by Congress and the rest by others. The BJP won six of the 15 wards of the Kakarhati Municipal Council. Congress has captured one ward and others have captured 8 wards. The BJP has not won in a single of the 15 wards of Lahar Municipality in Bhind. 13 councillors from Congress and 2 independents have won. Similarly, in Jyotiraditya Scindia's Guna area, the BJP's performance has been very poor.  

Congress' Mahesh Parmar is reported to be almost ahead after the third phase of the mayoral elections. With this, the Congress is also ahead in Gwalior, Jabalpur and Burhanpur. At the same time, BJP is leading in Sagar, Satna, Indore, Bhopal, Chhindwara, and Khandwa. In Singrauli, AAP has taken the lead in the best way possible. All these 11 mayors belonged to the BJP before this. Five seats appear to be slipping from his hand.
