Kohima: The Nagaland unit of the Congress on Thursday (January 5) directed all the 60 MLAs of the state assembly to submit their resignations and demand the implementation of the Naga political solution. Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) chief K Theri said this while giving a press conference. He said, 'If there is any integrity left in the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) government, they should submit their resignation to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and ask him to implement a political solution.' Along with this, Theri also urged the Government of India not to keep the Naga people in doubt. He said, 'Enough is enough.' He said, 'If they are honest then this is the time when they should demand President's Rule and postpone the elections. A political solution must be implemented. This should be the stand of the BJP and the state government. Let us tell you that in the year 2023, the northeastern states of India are going to be very active in terms of elections. Along with Nagaland, elections will also be held in Tripura and Meghalaya. Along with these, assembly elections will also be held in the South Indian states of Karnataka and Telangana.
