Lucknow: In an effort to boost tourism in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is all set for the redevelopment of Naimisharanya Dham. About 80 km from Lucknow, this famous place is located in the Sitapur district of the state and will be given a new look as per the master plan prepared by the College of Architecture (affiliated with AKTU). After the completion of this redevelopment project, Naimisharanya Dham will give the tourists visiting Lucknow an option to visit a new place. The place will be redeveloped after the directions of CM Yogi Adityanath. It will be decorated on the lines of Kashi, Mathura and Ayodhya. The scope of this development project includes the development of the entire area, including setting up of the riverbank, expansion of Gangaghat and improvement in road connectivity. It also covers the development of 5 Kosi Yatra routes, 14 Kosi Yatra routes and 84 Kosi Yatra routes. In addition, a new meditation centre will also be set up in the Dham soon. An action plan for development has been prepared in four phases. According to it, chakra tirtha, Maa Lalita Devi temple, Dadhichi Kund and Sita Kund will be developed in the first phase of the major projects. In the second phase, Dadhichi Kund, Rudravarta Mahadev, Devdeshwar temple and Kashi Kund will be developed.
