Navratri: Know method and Mantra for Kalash-Stapna

Whether Chaitra Navratri or Ashwin Navratri, both Navratri has great importance in Hinduism. During this, different goddesses are worshipped for 9 days and fasting is also done. However, before this, it is important to know about the Kalash and Puja method and mantras for Kalash-Stapna at the beginning of Navratri.

Ghat or Kalash is directly related to Lord Shri Ganesh. Kalash has been called Shri Ganesh in our scriptures. In any auspicious work, Shri Ganesh is invited first. The Kalash-Stapna has special significance on the first day of Navratri. Navratri starts in India with Kalash-Stapna.

First, select the direction for this. North-East direction would be best. It should be properly cleaned. The place where the Kalash is to be established, clean it thoroughly with Ganga-Jal. Now place clean soil on the ground or slab, now put barley on it and again lay a layer of clean soil on it. After that sprinkle water. Now place the Kalash on it. Fill the Kalash with pure water (mix Ganga water and keep a coin as well) and then sprinkle water on the urn by placing coconut and mango leaves. Now in the last step, place the right hand on the urn and chant the mantra that is being said.

Mantra:
