Patna: Counting of votes for the 243 assembly constituencies in three phases in Bihar has begun amidst tight security arrangements following the Corona transition guidelines at 8 am this morning. According to the state election office, the process of vote counting started from 8 am this morning at 55 counting centres constructed in all the 38 districts of the state. The trends so far are going ahead on NDA 124, Grand Alliance 112, Chirag 5 and independents 2. The election commission's figures are also seeing a tough competition. The security arrangements have been made at the counting centre. First, the ballot papers cast from the ballot paper are being counted. Thereafter, the votes of electronic voting machines (EVM) will be counted. Social dissing is being strictly followed to prevent coronavirus infection at counting centres. As per the direction issued by the election Commission, counting has been arranged on seven tables in a hall. The counting of votes is also going on in 7 other tables in the second nearby hall.
