NEET UG Retest Results Announced by NTA, How to Check

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the results for the NEET-UG retest conducted on June 23 for 1,563 students. This retest was arranged following a controversy over grace marks awarded to some candidates. The results of this retest will enable the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to begin the counselling process. Candidates can check their results on exams.nta.ac.in.

In a statement, NTA mentioned, "Revised score cards of all candidates of NEET (UG) 2024, including the 1,563 candidates who appeared in the re-test on June 23, 2024, are now available on the website (https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/). Candidates can log in to the website to view, download, and print their respective revised score cards."

This year's NEET UG exam was initially held on May 5 for over 24 lakh candidates. However, due to incorrect question papers at seven centers, 1,563 candidates experienced delays. The NTA initially decided to award grace marks to these candidates, but this decision was reversed following a Supreme Court hearing.

During the hearing, the Centre announced that the previously granted grace marks would be revoked. Affected students were given the option to retake the exam or accept their original scores without the grace marks. Out of the 1,563 eligible candidates, 813 chose to retake the NEET exam.
