Delhi: Lift wire of under construction DDA building breaks, 12 people injured

New Delhi: Around 12 people were injured when a lift collapsed due to a wire break in an under-construction DDA building in Narela area of outer Delhi on Thursday morning. Police has informed about this incident. According to the police, he was informed about the incident by calling the police control room at 9 am.

Giving the information, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer-North) Gaurav Sharma said, "After reaching the spot on Mata Mansa Devi Road, it was seen that the lift wire carrying construction material from the ground floor of an under-construction DDA building to the upper floor was broken. Was the reason 12 people were injured. They have been rushed to the hospital for treatment. "

While giving the information, the police said that one of the injured has been identified as Sandesh, 35, who suffered a severe head injury. He has been referred to Loknayak Hospital. The rest of the injured are being treated at SRHC Hospital. Sharma has said that "a case has been registered against the contractor / construction company for injuries due to negligence."
