In view of this, the Ministry of Personnel has issued unified guidelines to the Chairman and Managing Directors (CMDs) of pension disbursing banks. Its goal is to make the Central Pension Processing Center (CPPC) / branches of banks aware of the updated rules and guidelines. The Ministry of Personnel has given this information. This step has been taken based on the analysis of complaints received by the Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare working under the Ministry of Personnel. Regarding this matter, the department said in an order issued on Friday, "With the updated and integrated guidelines, the process of processing pensioner's request by the bank or others will be better." At the same time, the Ministry of Personnel has said that the necessary guidelines issued from time to time by pension and pensioners welfare department regarding pension disbursement have been integrated. Issuing the Unified Guidelines, the department has said that pension issuing banks are currently following different procedures for issuing pensions or taking certificates from the pensioner or their family from time to time. All banks have been asked to follow the new unified guidelines. Also, for wider publicity of these guidelines, it has been directed to upload them on the website of banks and put them on the notice board in the branches of banks. Also, the latest guidelines have stated that pension disbursing banks will accept the digital life certificate 'Jeevan Pramaan' based on Aadhar. At the same time, according to these rules, pensioners who are 80 years or older can submit a life certificate every year in the month of October. It is noteworthy that every pensioner or family pensioner has to give a life certificate in November every year.
