Noida DM Suhas elected in Tokyo Paralympics to be held next month

Noida: Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida) DM Suhas Lalinakere Yatiraj (Suhas LY) adjacent to the national capital Delhi will also be seen representing India at the Tokyo Olympics. Suhas, currently the No.3 player in the world, has been selected to represent India in the badminton game at the Paralympics.

Suhas has been selected for the Paralympics by the Badminton World Federation. The Para Olympics will be held in the Japanese capital next month, immediately after the Tokyo Olympic Games are over. BWF has invited BAI and PCI India based on world rankings and performance. Suhas, a 2007 batch IAS officer, is currently the DM of Gautam Buddha Nagar. Suhas was appointed DM of Noida in March last year.

Tell you that Noida DM Suhas is a fast-paced badminton player. He has achieved great success at the national and international levels. He won a gold medal in the men's singles event at the Asian Championships in China in 2016. Suhas has also won a medal at the Para-Badminton Championships held in Turkey in 2017. He will now represent India at the Tokyo Paralympics.
