Northern Australia and Indonesia clattered by a strong Earthquake of 6.5 magnitude

A succession of earthquakes had hit northern parts of Australia and eastern coastline of Indonesia as well with a magnitude of 6.5  with some strong shaking of ground in the residential areas. Although there were no reports of life damage.

According to US sesmologists, "No Tsunami warnings have been issued". As per reports quake was felt across the city of Darwin, Australia and people could feel the shake even at the higher floors of the buidings.

In Indonesia the disaster agency said "residents in the southwest of the Moluccas island chain also felt the quake but there were no reports as yet of damage or casualties."
