Odisha increases upper age limited for Govt jobs from 32 to 38 years old.

Bhubaneswar The Odisha government raised the maximum age limit for state government employment recruitment.

According to a news release, the Odisha  government has raised the upper age restriction for people applying for government positions from 32 to 38 years.

"The maximum age limit for Schedule Tribe/Schedule Caste /Social Economically Backward Class (SEBC) and women is 43 years," the government stated. "The maximum age limit for General Persons with Disabilities (PwD) is 48 years, while the maximum age limit for Schedule Tribe/Schedule Caste /Social Economically Backward Class (SEBC) PwD candidates is 53 years."

"The government has been pleased to increase the upper age restriction for admission into government service from 32 to 38 years only for ads made/to be made during the calendar year, i.e. 2021, 2022, and 2023, which is relaxable in case of distinct restricted categories," the statement read.
