Srinagar: After the removal of Section 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the government detained National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti. The Government referred to the security reasons behind it. There have been reports about the routine of both of them. According to reports, Omar Abdullah is currently spending his time watching movies and sweating in the gym. They have been kept at Hari Niwas Guest House on Gupkar Road in Srinagar. Former CM and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti is spending time reading books. Mufti is staying in a guest house owned by Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation. They are allowed to go to the vicinity of the Mughal Garden. According to a newspaper report, the two leaders were first placed in the Hari Niwas Palace. However, they were separated after a quarrel between the two. While Omar is staying at Hari Niwas, the PDP president has been shifted to Goggles Shahi. According to official sources, Omar has been given a DVD of Hollywood films in custody. They are allowed to do daily workouts at the Palace Ground and Gym spread over nine hectares. Sources say That Omar appears to be writing something daily in his notebook. A police jeep is seen parked outside the house of NC Chief and MP Farooq Abdullah. Farooq's house is also on Gupkar Road. According to official sources, the former CM and Union minister are also under house arrest. The government has detained all mainstream party leaders from the security point of view.
