In this regard, District Surveillance Officer Dr. Rakesh Gupta says, "The elderly couple living in Nehru Nagar have confirmed omicron. Both are retired. The husband (69) and wife (66) had visited Mumbai last month to meet their relatives. He had returned by car via Jaipur on November 29. Both of them complained of cough after returning and both got the corona checked. Both the coronas were found positive on December 3. ' On the other hand, health department officials say, "On December 15, the two men gave samples to the private lab for RTPCR testing. Both were found to be healthy in the investigation. By then the couple's ten-day home isolation had also been completed. The genome sequencer report comes after he recovered. After the husband and wife suffered from corona, the health department team reached their house, and at that time, based on a conversation with both of them, it was found that 39 people had come in contact with them. Samples of all were sent for examination, out of which three more were found positive. The five were then placed in home isolation. The couple reportedly underwent an RTPCR test from a private lab on December 15 after completing ten-day home isolation and was found to be negative. The other three other infected have also recovered. Now health department officials say the couple has been vaccinated. The husband and wife have received both doses. Both had mild symptoms from the very beginning. There was only a complaint of cough and wet mucus. He has recovered in home isolation.
