23-Year Old Tribal Girl Becomes First Female Pilot from Malkangiri District, CM Patnaik congratulated

Bhubaneshwar: A wise man once said, “You must dream big dreams for only big dreams have the power to move the minds of men.” When you begin to dream big dreams, your level of self-esteem and self-confidence will increase immediately. It is said that dreams should always be seen big, which seems impossible to others and you give up your life to fulfill it. Just 23-year-old Anupriya Lakra left no stone unturned to fulfill her dreams and today she has created history by becoming the first tribal woman pilot. Please note that Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik has also congratulated the daughter of the state on this success.

CM Naveen Patnaik wrote on Twitter that I am happy to know about the success of Anupriya. Anupriya's hard work and dedication has led her to this success, which is an example for many. Best wishes to Anupriya as a capable pilot. Anupriya's dream was not so easy, to reach here, Anupriya left engineering studies in the middle and took admission in aviation academy in 2012.

Let us tell you that Anupriya's father says that the daughter's dream of becoming a pilot has been realized and we are very happy with this. This is a huge achievement for a person belonging to a backward district like Malkangiri. Anupriya is serving as a co-pilot in a private aircraft company. Anupriya's father Mariniyas Lakra is a constable in the Odisha Police and mother Jamaz Yasmin is a homemaker.
