New Delhi: Senior Congress leader and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram is currently in Tihar Jail in the INX Media case. He was sent to Tihar Jail in judicial custody last week for alleged corruption in granting FIPB clearance while holding the post of Finance Minister. Chidambaram on Monday requested that the officials who were involved in sanctioning INX Media not be detained. Because neither of them had done anything wrong. In this case, he asked his family to tweet a message.

It has been written in the tweet that, 'People have asked me that when a dozen officers who completed the process of the case and recommended you were not arrested, then why have you been arrested? Just because you finally signed? I had no answer. ' In another tweet, it was written on his behalf, 'No officer has done anything wrong.

I do not want anyone to be arrested. ' Congress leader P. Chidambaram arrested in INX Media case has been sent to judicial custody till 19 September. Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court recently sent former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram to judicial custody for 14 days in the INX Media case.
