New Delhi: Senior Congress leader and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram is currently in Tihar Jail in the INX Media case. He was sent to Tihar Jail in judicial custody last week for alleged corruption in granting FIPB clearance while holding the post of Finance Minister. Chidambaram on Monday requested that the officials who were involved in sanctioning INX Media not be detained. Because neither of them had done anything wrong. Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court recently sent former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram to judicial custody for 14 days in the INX Media case.
