What is paralysis, know here its causes and symptoms

You all know that a person suffering from paralysis becomes unable to move one or more of their muscles. And no problem or other obstacle in the muscles ever causes paralysis, but instead, the nerves and spinal cord that convey the message from the brain to the organs are paralyzed in the event that it is affected. Paralysis can affect one muscle or group or a large area of the body, it all depends on its cause. Stroke, head or brain injury, spinal cord injury and multiple sclerosis etc. are one of the main causes of paralysis.

When one of the limbs (arms and legs) of the body is affected, it is called monoplegia. When one side of the body and one leg are affected, that condition is called hemiplegia. In addition, when the limbs of the lower parts of the body are affected, it is called paraplegia, and when the four arms and legs are affected, it is called tetraplegia or quadriplegia. Many times when the muscles of an organ of the body stop or reduce their work, then that condition is known as palsy. Such as Bell's palsy, it affects the facial muscles. The diagnosis of paralysis is made on the basis of the patient's symptoms, physical examination and other tests such as tests and scans of nerves etc. I the paralysis in a person has become permanent, then he cannot be treated, but with the help of some mechanical modifications, an attempt is made to make the patient's life as easy as possible.
