Petrol and diesel prices increased for the fifth consecutive day, know today's rate

New Delhi: Due to increase in the price of crude oil in the international market, oil marketing companies have increased the prices of petrol and diesel for the fifth consecutive day. Petrol has become costlier by Rs 1.32 and diesel by Rs 1.10 per liter in the national capital Delhi on Saturday.

Oil companies have increased the prices of petrol by 29 paise per liter in Delhi and Mumbai, 28 paise and 31 paisa per liter in Kolkata and Chennai respectively. Diesel rates in Delhi and Kolkata have been increased by 24 paise, in Mumbai and Chennai by 25 paise and 26 paise per liter respectively. According to the website of Indian Oil, petrol rates in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai have gone up to Rs 73.35, Rs 79.02, Rs 76.05 and Rs 76.24 per liter respectively.

Diesel prices have increased to Rs 66.53, Rs 69.79, Rs 68.94 and Rs 70.33 per liter respectively in the four metros of the country. Let me tell you that the prices of petrol and diesel keep increasing every day. The new price of petrol and diesel becomes effective from 6 am. After adding everything to their price, excise duty, dealer commission, its rates double.
