New Delhi: The international market is witnessing a fall in crude oil prices. At the same time, petrol and diesel prices remain stable at the national level. Indian oil companies have not changed fuel prices even today (Monday). Tell us that petrol and diesel prices have remained unchanged since Diwali in November after record inflation in October.

According to the latest update from Indian Petroleum Marketing Company Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), petrol prices in the country's capital Delhi are still stable at Rs 103.97 while diesel at Rs 86.67 per litre on November 22. In Mumbai, the petrol price is Rs 109.98 and diesel is Rs 94.14 per litre.  Coming to Chennai, petrol is being sold at 101.40 per litre and diesel at 91.43 per litre.

Let us tell you that the Central Government had reduced excise duty on petrol by Rs 5 per litre and diesel by Rs 10 per litre on Wednesday (November 03). After which, the reduction in the VAT rate by most of the state governments locally has brought relief from record inflation in petrol and diesel prices.
