State-owned oil companies release new petrol and diesel prices. Know rates here

Today, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel. According to prices issued by public sector oil companies, prices are stable in the rest of the country' cities, including Delhi. Petrol prices are being sold at Rs 93.68 per litre and diesel at Rs 84.61 per litre in Delhi today. While the price of diesel has similarly not been changed in the rest of the cities of the country.

Learn what's the price in major cities:- On the other hand, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in Mumbai. Petrol here is Rs 99.94 and diesel is Rs 91.87 per litre. Petrol is stable at Rs 93.72 and diesel at Rs 87.46 per litre in Kolkata. Talking about Chennai, petrol is priced at Rs 95.28 and diesel at Rs 89.39.

Earlier on Thursday, petrol became costlier by 24 paise per litre and diesel by 29 paise per litre. Thereafter, the price of petrol in Thane district of Maharashtra had crossed the Rs 100 per litre level, while in Mumbai it was Rs 99.94 per litre. In Delhi, petrol price rose to Rs 93.68 per litre and diesel to Rs 84.61 per litre. This was the 14th increase this month, taking petrol and diesel prices across the country to record highs. Petrol prices had already crossed the Rs 100 mark in several cities of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra and Maharashtra also joined the list on Thursday.
