Due to Coronavirus, India had closed its international borders since March. Many people trapped in India could not go back to their country. Many foreign players and coaches were also among those who did not return to the country. These include 24-year-old footballer from Ghana, Randy Juan Muller had been living in a park for the last 73 days, now the government has come forward to help him. Muller plays in the Seven-Side circuit of Kerala's popular Seven-a-side. He arrived in Mumbai to return home, but after reaching the airport, he came to know that international flights had stopped. Muller had only 1000 rupees and could not understand what to do. According to the news of Indian Express, with the help of CISF and Mumbai Police, he made the park his home outside the airport where he was staying for the last 73 days. However, two days ago with the help of Maharashtra minister Aditya Thackrey and Ghana Embassy, he has been rushed to the Sunburn Hotel and has been promised that he will be home soon. On the first day when the policemen took him out of the airport, he could not understand what to do. Neither could he go to Kerala because all trains were closed. He decided to stay in the park where the police could not easily see him. He felt that he would die in this condition, but this park became his home for the next 72 days. Gradually, he became friends with the policeman who helped Muller. Muller said that his phone was damaged, due to which he was unable to talk to the family. With the help of the policeman, he talked to the family members. Along with the policeman, many people used to give him food items which he used to eat. To spend the time, Muller used to watch Hindi movies with the policeman. The policeman also got him a new phone. However, seeing similar faces and things every day, Muller felt that he had gone mad. However, he did not lose courage and hoped that he would definitely return home. He has been assured by the Maharashtra government that he will soon return to his country.
