PM Modi Brings Rs. 4,200 Cr Investment Projects in Uttarakhand, Embarks on Spiritual Journey

Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand - In a momentous visit to the sacred land of 'Devbhoomi,' Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a spiritual journey, commencing with a reverential puja at Parvati Kund in Pithoragarh. This poignant visit was accompanied by blessings sought at the holy Adi-Kailash, a site renowned for its spiritual significance and breathtaking natural beauty.

Prime Minister Modi's commitment to the welfare and rapid development of Uttarakhand was echoed in a statement he made on a prominent social media platform. "Our government is dedicated to the prosperity of every individual in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. To accelerate this mission, I will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several projects in Pithoragarh," he declared.

Modi expressed his eagerness to interact with the people of Gunji village, illustrating his keenness to connect with the local populace. Additionally, he eagerly anticipated a visit to the spiritually significant Parvati Kund for a puja and an excursion to Jageshwar Dham.

The Prime Minister's itinerary includes a visit to Gunji village, where he will engage with the local community alongside representatives of the Army, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and the Border Roads Organisation (BRO). Subsequently, he will offer prayers at Jageshwar Dham, honoring Lord Shiva, and address a public gathering in Pithoragarh.

The Prime Minister is also set to interact with personnel from the Army, ITBP, and BRO, underscoring the importance of their service to the nation. Around noon, he will reach Jageshwar, situated in the Almora district, to perform a pooja and darshan at Jageshwar Dham. This sacred site, nestled at an altitude of approximately 6200 feet, boasts an impressive array of 224 stone temples, each holding deep historical and spiritual significance.

Prime Minister Modi's visit is not only a spiritual journey but also a significant step towards the development of Uttarakhand. He is slated to lay the foundation stone for a diverse range of development projects, representing an impressive investment of Rs. 4,200 crore. These projects span multiple sectors, encompassing rural development, transportation, power, irrigation, water supply, horticulture, education, healthcare, and disaster management. A noteworthy endeavor among these initiatives is the construction of 21,398 poly-houses, aimed at boosting flower and vegetable production while maintaining quality standards.

This visit, which beautifully blends spirituality and development, holds immense promise for the people of Uttarakhand and the nation as a whole.
