PM Modi prays at the Sant Tukaram temple in Pune

pune: Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers today  at the Sant Tukaram temple in Pune and dedicated a Shila temple.

Sant Tukaram was a Warkari saint and poet who was well-known for his Abhanga devotional poetry and community-oriented worship through Kirtans. He was a Dehu resident. After his death, a Shila Mandir was created, but it was not formally constituted as a Temple. It has been restored in stone masonry and includes 36 peaks, as well as a Sant Tukaram deity.

The Prime Minister will attend the Dwishatabdi Mahotsav of Mumbai Samachar at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai at around 6 p.m., according to the Prime Minister's office.

The Jal Bhushan Building and Gallery of Revolutionaries will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Raj Bhawan in Mumbai. Since 1885, Jal Bhushan has served as the official house of Maharashtra's Governor. It was dismantled when its time came to an end, and a new structure was built in its place. The President of India lay the foundation stone for the new structure in August of this year. In the newly constructed building, all of the original building's distinguishing elements have been preserved.
