PM Modi speaks to President Zelensky for 35 minutes amid war, will now call Putin

New Delhi: Amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, big news is coming out from the diplomatic corridors. According to information received from top sources in the government, amid the Russo-Ukraine war, PRIME Minister Narendra Modi has held a lengthy discussion with Ukrainian President Zelensky this morning. The two heads of state had a phone call for 35 minutes at around 11.30 pm.  

PM Modi and President Zelensky discussed the situation of the war that has arisen in Ukraine and brainstormed on its different dimensions. According to information received from sources, PM Modi also praised the ongoing direct talks between Russia and Ukraine. PM Modi also thanked President Zelensky for the help given by the Ukrainian government in evacuating Indian nationals from Ukraine. PM Modi sought cooperation of the Ukrainian government to evacuate Indian nationals from Sumi. At 1:30 pm, PM Modi is scheduled to speak to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Let us know that India's concern is to bring back its citizens stranded in the Ukrainian city of Sumi. Meanwhile, President Putin has announced a ceasefire in Kiev, Sumi, Kharkiv and Mariupol. Pm Modi spoke to Russian President Putin a few days ago. PM Modi also spoke with Ukraine's President Zelensky.
