PM Modi reveals benefits of natural farming

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi today addressed the 'Zero Budget Farming' Summit on promoting natural farming. Meanwhile, PM Modi said that in the decades since Independence, we have all seen very closely the way agriculture has taken place in the country and the direction in which it has progressed. PM Modi said, "Now our journey till the 100th year of Independence is to adapt our farming to new needs, new challenges.

PM Modi also mentioned the last 6-7 years on farming during the conference. He said that in the last 6-7 years, from seeds to the market, several steps have been taken one after the other to increase the income of the farmer. From soil testing to hundreds of new seeds, from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to one-and-a-half times the cost MSP. From a strong network of irrigation to farmer railways, many decisions have been taken. He further said, "I had requested the farmer brothers across the country to join the National Conference on Natural Farming. Today, about 80 million farmers are associated with us through technology from all parts of the country.

PM Modi said that those who benefit the most from natural farming are 80 percent of the farmers of the country. Most of these farmers spend a lot on chemical fertilizers. If they turn to natural farming, their condition will be better. There is also an illusion that the crop will not be good without chemicals. While the truth is quite the opposite. Earlier there were no chemicals, but the crop was good. The history of the development of humanity is a testimony to this.
