Two minutes later, the tweet was deleted and then another similar tweet was tweeted at 2.14 pm. The tweet was also deleted after some time, but by then the screenshots had gone viral. Then, at 3.18 pm, the PMO tweeted that 'PM Narendra Modi's Twitter handle was tampered with, which has now been corrected and the matter has been reported to Twitter.' At the same time, the PMO said that whatever tweets were tweeted during this period should be ignored.
