In the last 45 years given to Indian cinema, Rajinikanth has acquired cult status and his fans have started worshipping him like God. Rajinikanth of the Superstar of Indian Cinema is celebrating his birthday today.  Rajinikanth has turned 71 today.

Known as Thalaiva, Rajinikanth was born on this day that is 12 December 1950 in a Marathi family in Bangalore. Most surprisingly, there is no actor in Indian cinema who can play a young hero even at this age, except Rajinikanth's saying - Age is just a number. This proverb fits Rajinikanth perfectly. Rajinikanth was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 2016 for his contribution to Indian cinema. On the other hand, in 2000, the government awarded him the Padma Bhushan. Not only that but Rajinikanth has also been honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest award in the world of cinema.

A girl rejected due to dark complexion: According to reports, a book reveals that Rajinikanth loved a girl when he worked on a conductor's post in Bangalore. He wanted to marry the girl, but it was not possible. It was just an attraction that disappeared after some time. The second proposal was suggested to him. One day he went to see the woman and the woman rejected him saying that his skin was dark. The girl had told Rajinikanth that he was black and looked like a thug.

After which there were rumors that Rajinikanth had resolved to marry a white girl after denying that he would continue to marry a white girl and after a few years he did so. Lata had come to interview Rajinikanth for her college magazine in 1980 and after meeting Lata, Rajinikanth fell in love with her. It was Love at First Sight. Rajinikanth proposed to Lata after the interview was over. The two got married again in 1981 and now have two daughters - Aishwarya and Soundarya.
