Jodhpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a letter expressing grief over the loss of lives in the Bhungra gas tragedy in Rajasthan's Jodhpur district. PM Modi wrote ''I can understand the heartbreaking pain of losing so many people due to fire. He wished speedy recovery to the injured persons.'' Jaswant Singh Inda, general secretary of Jodhpur BJP Dehat North, said that PM Narendra Modi has sent a letter to Sang Singh's house. In this letter, Prime Minister Modi has written, "Very sad to know about the death of your family members in a very tragic accident. My thoughts are with my family in this difficult time. I can understand how heartbreaking it will be to lose so many people in the family at the same time. Words cannot express the anguish of this irreparable loss. The memories associated with the people you have lost in this tragedy will remain with the family. I pray for the speedy recovery of those injured in this accident. I pray to God to give you the patience and strength to face these difficult situations. Om Shanti!" In the gas tragedy of Bhungra village of the Shergarh area, everyone including the groom Surendra Singh, who got scorched, has been shifted to the general ward. Presently 7 patients are admitted in Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. In this tragedy, financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each has been given to the families of the deceased from the PM Relief Fund. After the tragedy on December 8, 35 patients have died so far. At the same time, 13 people have been discharged from the hospital.
