BSF's 56th Foundation Day today, PM Modi and Amit Shah pays tribute to soldiers

New Delhi: The Border Security Force (BSF) is celebrating its 56th Foundation Day today. On the occasion of the establishment day of the Border Security Force, PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh have paid tributes to BSF soldiers for their service to the nation. PM Modi tweeted from his Twitter handle and wished the Border Security Force personnel on the occasion of 56th Foundation Day.

PM Modi wrote in a tweet, 'Best wishes to all @BSF_India personnel and their families on the special occasion of their Raising Day. BSF has distinguished itself as a valorous force, unwavering in their commitment to protect the nation and assist citizens during natural calamities. India is proud of BSF!' Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted, 'The BSF has always carried out its motto 'Life-long duty' with its valour. On the 56th Foundation Day of BSF India, I bow to all the brave soldiers of the force for their service and dedication to the nation. India is proud of its victorious 'Border Security Force'.'

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh wrote in his tweet that hearty congratulations to BSF personnel and their families on the foundation day of BSF. BSF is the first line of defence of the country and plays an important role in protecting our borders. I salute his service and sacrifice in the service of the nation. '
