PM Modi shares video on the occasion of Teacher's day, remembers works of Dr Radhakrishnan

New Delhi: Teacher's day is being celebrated across the country today. Teacher's day is celebrated every year on the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. PM Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind, Union Home Minister Amit Shah have given best wishes to all the teachers on the occasion of Teachers' Day. Today is the last day of PM Modi's visit to Russia. On the occasion of Teachers' Day on September 5, he tweeted and wished all the teachers.

PM Modi wrote on Twitter that, 'Heartiest greetings to all teachers on the occasion of Teacher's Day'. Prime Minister Modi has also shared a video in the tweet. The important work of Dr Radhakrishnan is mentioned in this video. Remembering the contribution of Dr Radhakrishnan, PM Modi has described him as an extraordinary teacher and mentor. At the same time, President Ramnath Kovind wished all the teachers on Thursday on the occasion of Teacher's Day.

The President wrote on Twitter that, on the occasion of Teachers' Day, I pay tribute to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and wish all the teachers of our country. Teachers influence young minds with strong values and encourage them to learn and dream. By doing this, they contribute significantly to nation-building. Amit Shah tweeted on Teacher's Day that he wrote, 'Salute to the entire learning community for their exemplary role in building an educated and civilized society to the nation.'
