CAA Protest: 49 people arrested, including Congress councilor Shahzad Pathan, CBI is investigating

AHMEDABAD: Police have arrested 49 people for the violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act in Ahmedabad district of Gujarat. It also includes the name of Congress councilor of Danilimada. The police arrested the miscreants after videos of the demonstration surfaced. 26 policemen including Deputy Commissioner of Police and Assistant Commissioner were injured in this violent demonstration.

At the same time, a case has been registered against a total of 50 nominated and 5000 unknown people with charges of attempt to murder, damage to public property and violation of public order. However, some such videos have also appeared in the media in which some policemen were also beaten.
