SAP for unsuitable species has been fixed at Rs 310 per quintal. Sugar mills will pay the sugarcane price outright to the farmers as per SAP. Sugar mills will have to pay the price of sugarcane supplied at outside purchasing centers. For the crushing season 2019-20, sugar mills will have to pay contribution at the rate of Rs 5.50 per quintal to the sugarcane committees and the sugarcane development councils.
