Priyanka angry over IAS official's resignation, Attacks Modi government on tweeter

New Delhi: Congress Party's National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra attacks on Modi Government over IAS Officer G. Kannan. Priyanka Gandhi has repeated the lines written by poet and writer Czesław Miłosz. In his Nobel Prize lecture on December 8, 1980, Czesław Miłosz said that "in a room when people unanimously maintain a conspiracy of silence, there is a word of truth that sounds like a pistol bullet."

Remarkably, G. Kannan recently resigned over the Kashmir issue. He said, "I want my freedom of expression back. Kannan Gopinathan, a 33-year-old official, resigned in protest against the ban imposed in Jammu and Kashmir and the violation of fundamental rights. His work was praised during the 2018 floods in Kerala.

Kannan Gopinathan, an IAS officer of Kerala's 2012 batch posted as power and non-traditional energy secretary at Dadra and Nagar Haveli, has said that the fundamental rights of millions of people have been banned since the withdrawal of the special state status from Jammu and Kashmir.
